Youth Outreach accommodates alienated youth and saves them from wandering the streets at night. They are invited to hang out in their headquarters at all times, and they like to play music and do sports like basketball and skateboarding. This funding proposal upgrades the existing gymnasium to double as a concert venue, and the courtyard into a skateboard park. In order to mitigate the noise generated by the skateboards, a faceted sound barrier canopy was proposed over the entrance to minimize disturbances to the neighbourhood.
